Dr Logan Mitchell

Professional Profile

Dr Logan Mitchell is a Dunedin-trained ophthalmologist providing the best quality ophthalmic care possible through his clinics at Suite 16, Marinoto Clinic, and his peripheral clinic in Alexandra. Having completed advanced training through fellowships in strabismus (squint) and corneal disease at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital respectively, Logan is able to offer sub-specialist care in these areas - including complex adult strabismus surgery utilising adjustable sutures, and lamellar corneal transplant surgery such as DSAEK. Logan also provides care of general ophthalmology conditions such as cataract and glaucoma.

Logan finds his work of improving people’s sight and preventing vision loss highly rewarding, and enjoys relating to his patients and putting them at ease about their ophthalmic care. He and his team welcome referrals from general practitioners, optometrists, and patients themselves, and so look forward to hearing from you!
