Areas of Specialisation

Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.
Sub specialty training has focused on individual and group psychodynamic psychotherapy, including supervision of junior psychiatrists and general practitioners (Balint groups).

The integration of drug treatments with talking treatments is particularly important in the management of non-psychotic mental disorders such as depression, anxiety and personality disorders. These constitute my particular interests.

• Commonwealth Senior Registrar, Cassel Hospital, London 1986-1988
