Areas of Specialisation

I am a subspecialist in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and pain medicine and provide specialist services for infertility and chronic pelvic pain. I offer all types of reconstructive pelvic surgery, including microsurgical tubal re-anastomosis, and laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis. I also perform microsurgical vas reversal procedures.

Specialist Training

I qualified as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1979. I worked at Hammersmith Hospital, London, until 1982, training as a microsurgeon. In 1983 I was appointed to the University of Otago as a Senior Lecturer and consultant to Dunedin Hospital. I was awarded MD in 1990; CREI in 1998, and in 2008 was elected as a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and NZ College of Anaesthetists
