Dunedin is currently at COVID-19 Alert Level 2

Patient safety is at the heart of everything we do at Mercy Hospital.

It is for this reason that we are ensuring that any patient is only admitted if they are symptom free. If you are booked for surgery, please contact your surgeon’s rooms if you need to change your appointment to meet this important safety criteria.

While Dunedin is at COVID-19 Alert Level Two, each patient can only have one visitor at a time. This also applies for children who are visiting us for surgery - i.e. only one caregiver visiting at a time.

We know that this will be difficult for some of our patients and their caregivers. We appreciate your cooperation in aiding us to keep Mercy Hospital a safe place for everyone.

If you are visiting Mercy, please sign in using the NZ COVID Tracer ap (QR codes are displayed at entrances) or sign in at Reception, and make use of the hand sanitising gel on your way in and out.
