Tessa is a Medical Oncologist with specialist expertise in breast cancer, lung cancer and head and neck cancers.

Tessa was born and raised in Dunedin, keen from a young age to become a doctor and improve cancer care. Graduating from the University of Otago, Tessa undertook postgraduate training in New Zealand before moving to London where she gained cancer care expertise at the Royal Marsden Hospital. She completed specialist training in New Zealand and undertook a Fellowship in Lung and Head/Neck Cancers at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne in 2019.

Tessa is hugely compassionate and dedicated to providing high quality care for patients and their families throughout treatment. She has extensive clinical trial experience and strongly values the importance of clinical research in driving better patient care.
